Just install a plug-in ;) of course, this approach will not solve anything. What matters most is properly written HTML frontend code and the size and ways of implementing CSS and JS scripts. Nothing interferes with the performance of the store as much as too heavy wordpress template and overloaded code with too much loaded js, css code which is 80% unused.

In our opinion, if the plugin accomplishes its task in the free version, this is reason enough to leave it that way. Free plugins like WPML, YOAST are completely sufficient.
